About a week and a half ago- back in October, I (Bibi) traveled to Seattle for a quick business trip. Nothing was really planned except a business meeting. My hotel was a 15 min drive away from downtown Seattle, but I was lucky enough to get in contact with my ex co-worker Rej (who is former New Yorker and current Seattle Resident). Thankfully, I got to see the beauty of a Wednesday night in downtown Seattle as a tourist.
After a perfect dinner at Sazerac, we Ubered around many landmarks within the tourist area of downtown Seattle. (Uber on the West Coast is the best service ever!) Although all the places we went were all closed by the time we got there, it was still exciting to explore a new city. The best part was a night-stroll at the alley in Pike Place Market, which made me feel like I was in Europe! All the small alley stores, craft beer pubs, the first Starbucks with old logo, and also the fun gum wall adds colors to the city's night. The breeze was perfect and the lights were beautiful. Thanks to Rej I had a great night as a stranger in a new town.
