Finally, on our 3rd attempt to dine at Bibi's all-time favorite Japanese restaurant in the city, Shabu-Tatsu, we were able to find some open seats for a Saturday brunch. Unsurprisingly, Shabu-Tatsu is always crowded during dinner time hours, but this is one restaurant worth putting your name on its waiting list. I don't know what it is about the broth but it magically finds a way to touch your soul. Its a shame they won't take reservations for a small party of two, otherwise we'd frequent this restaurant more often.
After enjoying the savory brunch, we took a long walk from the East to the West side to soak in the afternoon sun. Feeling the warmth of summer and the breeze from the Hudson, we felt refreshed roaming around Chelsea Piers.
Bibi's new Lou & Grey Tunic Tee was perfect for this warm day. Even though it has "sweater-like" look to it, the Lou & Grey Tunic Tee, with its stretchy and soft hand-feel of its fabric, is light enough to wear during the hot summer days.
